The Matrix

The first film in a trilogy (and considered by most Hallsians to be the only good one of the three) set in a future where humans are used as fuel for machines. To keep the humans complacent, the machines trap their minds in a virtual world called the Matrix. But a few humans break free, form a resistance movement and search for "The One." Neo turns out to be the One, gains incredible powers and defeats the evil Agent Smith and the machines.
