Transformers: The Movie

Not to be confused with the 2007 movie by Michael Bay, Transformers: The Movie was a 1986 animated movie set between the second and third season of the original Transformers cartoon. The plot revolved around the Autobots attempting to defend Cybertron from destruction by the evil Unicron (voiced by Orson Welles). It is notable for introducing several new characters to Transformers, including Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod, but is probably best remembered for the deaths of Optimus Prime and Starscream, the conversion of Megatron to Galvatron and for the human character Spike dropping the s-bomb.
