Transformers was a film in 2007 directed by Michael Bay. It was a live-action and CGI take on the classic 80s toy and cartoon, Transformers, and starred Shia LeBouf and Megan Fox. Peter Cullen reprised his role as Optimus Prime, while Hugo Weaving provided the voice for Megatron.

Many Hallsians had a great deal of trepidation over the film, fearing that it would be a complete and total travesty. However, most of them mustered up the courage to go see it, and, to their collective surprise, most agreed that while the movie had its flaws, it was a pleasant experience.
