Vertigo

Vertigo is a division of DC Comics which is ostensibly separate from their main line. Vertigo titles are typically for mature audiences only, and often deal with magic and other elements that are distinct from standard superheroics. Many characters from the DC Universe have since been shunted off into the Vertigo line, such as Swamp Thing, Hellblazer, and others; in most cases these characters then cease to be seen in the regular DCU titles except on rare occasions, due to Vertigo policy.
