Zatanna

Zatanna is a DC Comics character noteworthy for being the impetus behind the first multi-title crossover in comics. Zatanna's introduction to the DC Universe had her showing up in multiple titles in search of her father. Soon after her introduction, Zatanna would become a member of the Justice League of America. The miniseries Identity Crisis revealed that during this time she would erase dangerous memories from the minds of supervillains, a course of action she would later regret; her attempts to deal with the feelings of guilt would be shown in Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers project.

Zatanna is a magician in both senses of the word: She is not only a fishnet-clad stage magician, but practices real magic as well. She performs her spells by speaking the words backwards.

Zatanna was a semi-finalist in the Battle of the Comic Book Babes.
